Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to have some pretty cool experiences. Given that I’ve been doing this (whatever “this” is) for 16 years, the nature of technology and its impermanence means some of the things I’ve done don’t exist anymore. Take, for example, that time I interviewed John Carpenter in honor of the 25th anniversary of Escape from L.A. (even if the interview took place the year after the anniversary). Can you still read excerpts of that interview online? Sure! Can you watch the video of the interview where it was originally published? Of course not!
Luckily, my professionalism (or, rather, my apprehension to delete things) means that some of these things still exist. For example, if you’re interested in watching my conversation with Carpenter about Escape from L.A., you can do so below! And, we don’t just talk Escape from L.A., we talk about a whole bunch of junk, from The Thing to the Bee Gees to, well, just watch it below!
