It was only a week ago when I went through all of my search party Sunday entires to calculate which volume I was on, and it saddens me to say that this feature will no longer be happening. I mentioned last week that when I look at all the terms for the week, there are too many and can no longer see the very obscure terms that only one person searched for. Rather than subjecting you guys to read things that are only mildly funny is beneath me, so I’m going to stop compiling the search terms. I’m sorry, I know how much some of you looked forward to Sunday for this reason only. However, this week the only things I could find were “the monster trash can dance” and “bitch-proof suit”, and despite those being pretty funny, it wasn’t anything insane. Maybe I’ll try to post other ramblings on Sunday to make up for it, and I suppose if I see anything that’s super funny I’ll make note of it, but the “Search Party Sunday” as you know it is dead. Personal ramblings? Well, in the past week I finished Red Dead Redemption, Arkham Asylum, and the first season of Mad Men. Very productive! There are also two awesome things on YouTube that I’m going to embed here. The first thing is for David Fincher’s version of “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”.
I didn’t see the original movie, and kept making it a point to see it, and nothing has made me want to see it more than this trailer. Did you see how fucking awesome that was? David Fincher can do no wrong, even when it comes to something simple as a trailer. I apologize that this one isn’t the version where you can see boobs, but I’m sure you can find it if you really want to. The next thing on YouTube is that Beastie Boys things involving everyone who is funny right now. Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Will Arnett, Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Rainn Wilson, and I am going to stop there because there’s too many. Make sure to check it out and get jealous that the Beastie Boys are now so popular that they can just get funny people together to have them do funny things.
